Hailing from Pickering, Ontario, Shanice is a distinguished professional dancer, educator, and choreographer with roots firmly planted in Toronto, Ontario. With a rich tapestry of dance styles under her belt, including Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Modern, Lyrical, Musical-Theatre, and Acro/Tumbling, Shanice’s expertise has molded her career in dance.

Her journey in dance led her to Ryerson University, where she pursued and excelled in the Performance Dance program, graduating as valedictorian with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Alongside her academic pursuits, Shanice collaborated with renowned choreographers such as Luther Brown, Stephen “tWitch” Boss, Ebony Williams, and Brian Friedman, among others, honing her craft and leaving an indelible mark on the industry.

Shanice’s talent has graced various platforms, from music videos to studio choreography for The Dance Awards. Having standout roles in notable productions such as LifeTime’s “Salt’N Peppa”, Hulu/Disney’s “What We Do In the Shadows”, and Netflix’s “Self-Made”. She has also made waves on the big screen with appearances in Disney’s “Sneakerella”, Nickelodeon’s “J-team”, and other feature films.

Her artistic journey extends beyond the screen, having danced for esteemed musical artists such as Drake, Flo-rida, Tory Lanez, A$AP Ferg, JoJo Siwa, and Baka Notnice. Shanice’s versatility and skill have also earned her a coveted spot as a five-time veteran of the Toronto Raptors’ “Dance Pak” and “Northside Crew”, where she showcased her talents on international stages, including Tokyo, Japan, and during the NBA Championship Finals and parade in 2019.

As Shanice continues to make her mark in the dance world, her passion, dedication, and talent serve as a beacon of inspiration for aspiring dancers and enthusiasts in both the competitive scene and professional industry.
